Georgia Medicaid rides are arranged by the state's NEMT broker, which covers every region of the state. Call at least three workdays before a scheduled appointment. For urgent, same-day care, the broker arranges a ride within three hours of your call.
Say what you need: walk-on, wheelchair or stretcher. Ask if a driver waits during the appointment or comes back. Get the total price before you book, including wait time and mileage. Ask if drivers help door to door, not only curb to curb.
