Privacy Policy

NEMT Entrepreneur (nemtrepreneur.com)
Effective date: September 19, 2026
Operated by Atlatl Enterprises LLC, St. Louis, Missouri ("we," "us")

This policy explains what information we collect on nemtrepreneur.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers visitors, newsletter subscribers, people who claim or purchase a Directory listing, and providers whose business information appears in the Directory.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form (contact, newsletter, claim a listing, advertise) we collect what you enter: typically your name, work email, phone number, company name, website, the listing you are claiming, the services you offer, the counties you serve, the plan you are interested in, and any notes. If you buy a Paid Service, our payment processor collects your payment details; we receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card, not the full card number.

Directory data about providers. The Provider Directory includes business information about NEMT providers compiled from public sources: the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES/NPI Registry), state business filings, and information providers publish on their own websites and public business profiles. This can include business name, NPI number, business address, business phone, and website. For sole proprietors, the NPPES record may associate the business with an individual's name. We publish this as business contact information. See "Your choices and rights" below for how to correct or remove it.

Information collected automatically. Like most sites we use cookies and similar technologies to collect device and usage information: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring page, and interactions with the Site. We use Google Analytics for this. We also use a customer relationship management system to keep track of business contacts and form submissions.

What we do not collect. The Site is not designed to receive protected health information or any patient, rider, or trip details, and our forms tell you not to submit it. If you send us that kind of information anyway, we will delete it.

2. How we use information

We use information to run the Directory and the Site; respond to your requests; verify that a person claiming a listing is authorized to do so; publish the listing content you provide; process payments and manage subscriptions; send the newsletter and other email you asked for; send service messages about your listing or account; understand how the Site is used so we can improve it; and prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and who are bound to use it only for that purpose: website hosting and forms (Webflow), analytics (Google), email delivery for the newsletter, our CRM, payment processing (Stripe), and automation tools that move form submissions between these systems.

Listing content you choose to publish (logo, hours, service types, service area, website, and a "Powered by" vendor badge if you opt in) is public by design. Your claim form details (name, email, phone, notes) are not published.

If a sponsor pays to be featured on the Site, we may report aggregate statistics to the sponsor (for example, how many visitors clicked a link). We do not give sponsors your personal information unless you ask us to introduce you or you click through to the sponsor's own site, where the sponsor's privacy policy applies.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for site functionality and Google Analytics to measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but where a state law recognizes the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request we will honor it.

5. Email

We send the newsletter only to people who subscribed or who checked the newsletter box on a form. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Service emails about a listing or purchase (verification, renewal notices, receipts) are sent as needed and are not marketing.

6. Your choices and rights

Correct or remove a Directory listing. If you are the provider in a listing, email contact@nemtrepreneur.com from a company email address, or use the claim form, and tell us what to correct or that you want the listing removed. We will confirm you are associated with the business and act within a commercially reasonable time. Removing a listing from our Site does not remove the underlying public record.

Access, correction, deletion. You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@nemtrepreneur.com. We will verify the request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We may keep information we need for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

State privacy rights. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and others) may have rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response.

Marketing opt-out. Use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us.

7. Data retention

We keep form submissions and account information for as long as your listing is active or your inquiry is open, and afterward for as long as needed for the purposes above, generally not more than seven years for financial records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings. Directory business data is kept while the Directory operates and is updated from public sources over time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including hosting with reputable providers and limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for a U.S. audience. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify claimed-listing contacts by email.
